At noon on March 10, the Amateur Party School of Tsinghua High School invited Dr. Ma Chengjie, a doctoral student from the School of Marxism of Tsinghua University, to give a special lecture on the topic of "Chinese-style Modernization - Promoting the Great Rejuvenation of the Chinese Nation"。More than 30 amateur Party school students from Senior one and senior two listened to the lecture。

Chinese-style modernization is a path to the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. It has an endless future and is unstoppable。First of all, Dr. Ma started with the word "modernization" of "Chinese modernization" and explained modernization in a broad sense to the students by borrowing the discussion of Western scholars, that is, "the transformation of political structure and social structure, the development of science and technology and the progress of civilization".。

Then, Dr. Ma Chengjie led the students to conduct in-depth study from three aspects: the scientific connotation of Chinese modernization, the historical evolution and the differences from Western modernization。

The report to the 20th National Congress of the CPC proposed to comprehensively promote the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation through Chinese-style modernization, and stressed the important role of young people in the process of comprehensively building a modern socialist country。Through the study of profound understanding of the connotation of Chinese modernization, it is helpful to help students understand China in the course of history, understand the world, and look forward to the future。It will help enhance the students' ambition, courage and confidence to continue to struggle, display their talents in study and life, and integrate their youth into the fiery practice of comprehensively building a modern socialist country。
